My Opinion
The book was a bit boring for me. It’s good, but its nonstop action becomes dull at some point, especially since it’s very predictable. I love action, but this book needed more downtime and focus on developing its characters. I honestly would not recommend this unless you have nothing better to read.
What will I remember after finishing this review? (Characters, Plots, Action)
The fights and monsters. This book had many cool concepts that stand out from the standard man fighting a goblin with a sword. The main character is forced to fight various monsters and perform challenges. The good monsters have specific weaknesses or at least require unique strategies to beat.
Things that Bothered me
This novel was originally a web novel. The pacing is awful for a decent chunk of the story. It felt like the writer had no plan and was making it up as he went. Funny enough, this also reflects how the main character is. He is a man who knows the future and is actively trying to stop it. Yet he doesn’t really plan ahead much aside from his personal growth plan.
Will I check out more from this series or author after this lazy review?
